In my undergraduate degree I completed a Gender & Sexuality course. In my graduate level courses, I have completed a Peer Health course where I wrote an academic research paper on making college campuses more inclusive. I have completed the training to provide Orasure and Clearview HIV tests, which focus on at risk groups, which include transgender youth. As a public health student, all my classes are focused on public health and we are encouraged to focus our projects on our passions, so much of my course work does focus advocating better health outcomes for LGBTQ+ people.
